As professional hospitality leaders with more than 50 years of experience with our team in Hawaii’s tourism market, we can develop successful management platforms and handle the fundamentals to include:

  • Conduct daily sales calls, arrange site inspections, and client FAM activities

  • Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to clients, develop professional long-term business relationships.

  • Representation at hotels and concierge desk in Hawaii. 

  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generate proposals, respond to RFP’s, contract writing, customer correspondence, and updating CRM). 

  • Able to support service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

  • Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.

  • Develop strong relationships with your team members to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.

  • Attend requested department and company meetings, as necessary.

  • Target potential key accounts for the company.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.

  • Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.

  • Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Representation at various events and exhibits

  • Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.

MIKE MURRAY, CMM, CMP, CASE

President

Mike Murray-founder of MM Professional Services. His experience expands over 3 decades from positions to include Senior VP and Director of Events for Peerless Host Hawaii, responsible for corporate sales, brand marketing, and PR integration. He has exceptional management experience, specializing in large scale hospitality operations and state-level tourism, Murray has an extensive background of both on island and international business handlings. Prior to becoming the Senior Vice President of Peerless Host Hawaii, Murray achieved the organizational lead and booking goals for the State of Hawaii eleven years in a row, as well as increased organizational revenue for Hawaii by $190 million in 2012 alone for the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau.
He directed the sales and marketing efforts at world class Grand Wailea and Kea Lani resort on Maui for several years.  Prior to moving to Hawaii in 1994 he held key leadership positions at the world class PGA National Resort in South Florida working his way through the ranks starting from Catering, Conventions Services, Sports Sales, and National Sales Director.
Mike Murray recently finished a 2-term board member position at the Oahu Visitors Bureau, currently serving on the Marketing Committee for the Waikiki Community Center, and the Marketing Committee for Kapiolani Community College’s Hospitality Program.

KENDRA MURRAY

Vice President

Kendra Murray-Kendra Murray is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry.  Over the course of her career in the hotel and restaurant industry, she has excelled as a top sales performer for Colonial Williamsburg Hotels & Resort, Planet Hollywood, and Dave & Buster's.  Receiving several distinguished awards, including Meeting Professionals International’s Aloha chapter, “Supplier of the Year” award and honored as one of Hawaii's top 10 women in business, by Pacific Edge Magazine.  She enjoys spending time with family & friends, hiking, going to the beach, and hot yoga.

JACKIE SLAYTON

Account Representative

Jacki Slaton has nearly five years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry with a background in a wide range of departments including sales, marketing, events, security, administration, and guest services. She specializes in luxury guest service experiences with a background in companies such as T-Galleria Waikiki, Peerless Host Hawaii and Park Lane Ala Moana.

VANESSA WONG

Account Representative

Vanessa Wong is passionate about International Marketing, Tourism, and Sales. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from Hawaii Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Business Administration. She has two years of experience in sales, marketing, social media content creation, administration, and tourism and guest services with companies such as Peerless Host Hawaii, E Noa Tours, and Restaurant Equipment Hawaii.

LEIGH DREWRY ( BASED ON MAUI)

Account Director

Leigh has over 25+ years of hospitality sales experience, the majority of it in the Hawaiian Islands. She has held sales management positions with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Grand Wailea Resort, Travaasa Hana and, most recently, Lumeria Maui a wellness retreat facility located in upcountry Maui.  She describes her management style as ‘relational’ and many of her former clients have become lifelong friends.


A long-time Maui resident Leigh currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Maui Humane Society and UH Maui College’s HOST Advisory Committee which serves as a vital link between the College and the community and provides a truly authentic learning opportunity for students in the hospitality industry.


Spare time activities include yoga/fitness, wine tasting and relaxing with her rescue cats: Lola, Lucy and Sophie.

LISA NAKAMASU ( BASED ON KAUAI )

Account Director

With over 40+ years in the hospitality industry, Lisa brings a wealth of insight and experience in sales and service within the domestic and international markets.  Her previous position dealt primarily with the marketing of Kauai and Hawaii to the Meetings, Convention & Incentive market as well as all markets in Asia, Oceania, Europe and Canada.  Well versed in what makes Kauai (and Hawaii) so unique and the ability to present this on a more personal level has enabled her to create a richer experience for first time and repeat visitors.
Lisa has also established close relationships with industry partners over the years.  Sales and operational positions with major resorts as well as a regional sales position with Marriott International, Hawaiian Islands, Hotels & Resorts gives her a well-rounded perspective on what is needed to create a win-win opportunity for all.

CHRISTOPHER BLUNT ( BASED ON HAWAII ISLAND)

Account Director

Christopher has been in the hotel & hospitality industry for over 20 years, working for various national and local hotel brands across the Hawaii Island including the Grand Wailea Resort, Mauna Lani Bay Resort, Mauna Kea Resort and Marriott Hotels & Resorts Hawaii. Most recently Christopher was the group and leisure sales manager for Fair Wind Cruises company based in Kona, Hawaii. His expertise is selling to the upscale and luxury group, meetings and incentive market across the United States. With an extensive professional background in both hotel and activity sales, Christopher enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge of the islands, introducing new clients to the vast array of resources and activities and networking with local vendors and clients to build successful partnerships. He has a proven track record of hitting sales quota, exceeding revenue goals and finding custom-fit solutions for all his clients. Customers and vendors love working with Christopher for his genuine Aloha, caring approach and sense of humor.  As an active community member Christopher helped educated visitors about the local manta ray population in Kona, served as a member of the Hawaii Ecotourism Association and the MPI Aloha Chapter and volunteers at sports and charity events across the island.


Besides being the ultimate professional, Christopher is an avid waterman, loves music and playing with his band and pursues his passion for creating abstract, realist and Polynesian art drawings.

MEGAN CHINN ( OAHU BASED)

Account Director

Stacie Ayers career has focused on the Hawaii visitor market for over 25 years.  She has been specializing in destination sales and management, group sales, special event sales and marketing in the West, and Eastbound market.  Her business Ayers consulting has also been successful with assisting in creating, and implementing, marketing strategies, that included media buying, PR, west and eastbound contracting, concierge programs, and lead generation.  Her clients range from restaurants, restaurant groups, private chefs, caterers, activities, and tours. She also contributes her time to charitable events both locally and nationwide.
